Minnie Ethel Nichols, 75, of 4019 Thompson Avenue, Fayetteville, North Carolina died Thursday May 27, 2010 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. A native of Marked Tree, Arkansas, she was born May 28, 1934 to the late Herman and Pearl Madden. She had been a homemaker and seamstress in the textile industry. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Napoleon "Nick" Nichols; son, Norman Nichols; daughter, Marilyn Jackson; Grandchildren, Erica Jackson, Ashley Jackson, Heather Stevenson, Brian Dawson, Patrick Nichols, and Amy Kinlaw; and 8 Great grandchildren; Ms. Nichols was predeceased by a daughter Gloria Jean Dawson. Visitation will be held Sunday May 30, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home in St. Pauls, NC. Funeral Services are scheduled for Memorial Day, Monday May 31, 2010 at 1:00 PM at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Mike Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery, St. Pauls. Arrangements by McNeill Mackie Funeral Home, St. Pauls, North Carolina.
