Theodore Drake Locklear, 77, of Red Springs died Friday July 9, 2010 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, North Carolina. A native of Robeson County, NC he was born December 29, 1932. He was preceeded in death by his mother, Armatha Locklear. He is survived by daughters, Margie Locklear, Melody McNair, Victoria Locklear, Mariam Flax Smith and Tanya L. Hunter; sons, Charles Locklear, Carey D. Locklear, Theodore Locklear, Jr, Timothy Hunter and Charles Flax; a brother, Plummer Locklear; sisters, Dorothy Hammonds and Maudie F. Oxendine; 29 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, a host of nephews and nieces and countless friends. Visitation will be at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home, St, Pauls, NC Wednesday July 14, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Funeral Services will be Thursday July 15, 2010 at 3:00 PM at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery, St. Pauls, NC.
