Victor Daniel Muriel, 90, of Fayetteville, NC died Tuesday February 12, 2019. He was born July 28, 1928 in Amelia, Puerto Rico to the late Martina Muriel. He was known as a “good gambler” and a “great father”. A very family oriented man, he taught his children and grandchildren to always be there for each other and look out for one another. He imparted the important values to live by to his 5 beautiful daughters. Preceded in death by a daughter, Jeannette Muriel, he is survived by his wife Isolina Aponte Colon; son, Antonio Richards; daughters, Maria Del Carmen Muriel, Maritza Muriel, Migdalia Caballero and her husband, Guillermo, and Priscilla Santiago and her husband Edwin; grandchildren, William Daniel Sanchez, Jovanni Angel Sanchez, Victor Gabriel Sanchez, Claritza Ana Quinto, Cesar Enrique Quinto, Anibal Rosado, Jr., William David Caballero, Edwin Miguel Santiago, Icela Lina Santiago and Marcus Angel Santiago; 23 great grandchildren and 1 great, great granddaughter; sister, Marta Velez; and a special niece, Carmen Velez. Visitation will be held Saturday February 16, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Sunday February 17, 2019 from 3:00 until 7:00 pm at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls. A funeral service is scheduled for Monday February 18, 2019 at 11:00 am at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls with Pastor Orlando Rivera officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
