Mary Frances “Frank” Canady, 95, of St. Pauls died August 31, 2020 at her home. She was born October 13, 1924 in Durham County, NC to the late Junus Manda and Luvenia Royal Moore. She was a homemaker who loved country cooking for her family and sharing her crowd pleasing 9 to 10 layer chocolate cakes. And there was always a pan of homemade biscuits ready for whoever wanted them. She was an accomplished quilter, loved sewing and traveling with her family. She was lovingly known as “Aunt Frank” to all her nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Preceded in death by sisters Bessie Watson, Daisy Hughes, Gladys Rappleyea, Minnie Cullipher and brothers Jack Moore and Bill Moore, she is survived by sons Dennis Canady and wife Dorothy and Ronald Canady and wife Shannon, all of St Paul's, NC.; grandchildren Angela Waldrop, Matthew Canady, Kevin Senecal, Amber Canady and Jacob Bradbury; great grandchildren Caleb Waldrop, Aaron Waldrop, Taylor Collier, Jared Waldrop, Nathan Waldrop, Samuel Waldrop and Gabriel Waldrop. A visitation is scheduled for Thursday September 3, 2020 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Haymount Free Will Baptist Church, 136 Eastwood Avenue, Fayetteville, NC with a funeral service scheduled at 2:00 pm, also, at the church, with the Reverend John Davis officiating.
